Here are a few things you can do and need to do for yourself right now.
- Take breaks…Schedule in breaks from work, breaks from your family, a break from the news.
- Be intentional and connect with other humans outside of your home.
- Give yourself grace.
- Stress balls: May seem silly but don’t minimize the power of a stress ball.
- Stay hydrated…Drink water. We know water is beneficial in so many ways including lowering cortisol (the stress hormone) levels.
