- It needs to involve something that you’re passionate about. You have to have your heart in it before you start or you will fail before you even get out of the gate.
- Do your research and make sure it’s a company that doesn’t require hundreds of dollars of inventory that you have to store in your closet or take over your dining room. Also make sure it doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars of overhead each month.
- You also want to research and confirm that you don’t have to build a team to make significant money. You want to make sure that people can make money just by sharing the product they’re passionate about.
- Research into the culture behind the company as a whole. You want to associate yourself with a company that is thinking about its legacy 5 years from now, 10 years from now, 20 years from now, that ensures they’re looking into the future and that factors into the future stability of your individual business.
- Find someONE, not just a company, but a person, you want to align yourself with and that you believe will help you grow your business. Network marketing is a team business. It’s about community and it’s about support. So before you join someone’s network marketing business you need to make sure it’s someone that has your back. Make sure they’re willing to invest their time and talents into you.
